Dr. NImali Fernando, the Founder of the Doctor Yum Project, a 501c3 nonprofit which teaches families about healthy eating, started "Yum Pediatrics" in 2014. This practice is a full service pediatrics practice with a strong emphasis on healthy eating, from the decor, the programming in the waiting room, the multimedia instructional kitchen and the teaching garden. A unique small practice that hopes to model a healthy lifestyle and deliver care to the whole child with a compassionate and supportive approach.
