In 1969, Carl Buchanan formed his own construction company, originally named Buchanan Concrete Contracting Company. The company was founded on the idea of providing quality construction services. Over the years, the company has always made it's bottom line the satisfaction of the client and the quality of the work performed. This is evident in such projects as South Pack Square street work (Asheville, NC), Joyner Plaza (Western Carolina University- Cullowhee, NC), and Ray Branch Road (Franklin, NC). As time passed, the company continued to grow, but Carl's family also continued to grow. Three of the family members, which were his sons, fell in love with the company and the type of work that was performed.
