Replacing the old mortar with new takes a fair amount of skill and know how to achieve a strong wall which looks great in the end. Many jobs have seen amateur tradesmen or owner attempted quick fix projects that didn't turn out so well. Another mishap is the ever loved Great Stuff or spray foam.
