It is ok to use a single phase 230v 50Hz induction motor on phase-phase 230v ac with body grounding to eliminate the risk of electric shock. But, the frequency of supply is equally important. Mostly 230v, 50 Hzphase-phase power supplies are 60Hz based, while 400v, phase-phase power supplies are 50HZ based.
