Our nonprofit rescue is the first registered Koi Rescue with the State of Pennsylvania and Fish and Wildlife Division. We work to save Japanese Koi from situations that could put them in harm's way of our natural waterways. By giving an owner of an over crowed pond a solution to an issue. What are volunteers do is remove fish from ponds where they can no longer thrive. We bring these Koi back to our facility to be adopted out to new owners over time. Some of these Koi we rescue need to be treated for diseases and sometimes wounds upon arrival to our facility. For anyone who is looking to add a Koi to their pond we have an application for a perspective adopter to fill out. Our rescues do carry a fee to adopt them and is determined by their length category. The fees help us to continue our efforts in rescue, as we are a nonprofit working to help one Koi or a group of Koi. We work to educate the public on Japanese Koi and their care.
