At Rush Creek Sanctuary, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals while creating meaningful opportunities for people and animals to heal together. Based in Decatur, TX, our nonprofit focuses primarily on rescuing equines from kill pens and preparing them for therapeutic, educational, and social programs serving veterans, first responders, families, children, adults, and individuals with special needs. We also provide animal therapy experiences, educational programs, adoption opportunities, volunteer programs, and animal sponsorships.
