Incorporated in 1981, Atlanta Light Bulbs President & CFO Gary Root began supplying lamps and ballasts to commercial and industrial customers in the Atlanta metropolitan area from a humble garage. Pacing its growth with the dramatic growth of the Atlanta area, Atlanta Light Bulbs experienced a significant increase in the demand for lamps, ballasts, and specialty light bulbs. By the early 1990s, the company relocated to a larger facility, featuring a lighting showroom and warehouse space. This new warehouse space stocked the ever expanding and diversifying lighting inventory demanded by the growing customer base: printing lamps, projector lamps, medical lamps, European bulbs, dental lamps, fixtures, and lighting installations.
