Hermetic Coil Co, Inc. was founded in 1955 by Mr. DhuAine Davis in Chicago, IL. Mr. Davis manufactured precision wound small coils from his home, in the mid 1950's. From there, he implemented a way of over molding the same small coils to prevent the coil from being exposed to the environments. That is where our name Hermetic Coil Co, Inc. comes from, our ability to make the coil waterproof and sealed to its surroundings. For nearly 60 years, our company has been a contract manufacture for some of the biggest names in the medical, automotive, and air & fluid control companies in the United States.
