The company first began making auger liners for our own combines on the farm in 2002. Since then, Ihle Fabrications has mass produced these liners in the last two years. In addition to these liners, we also started making other products such as bubble-up liners, clean and return grain liners, and auger floor liners. Not only do these models fit Case IH, but they are also made for New Holland, Catepillar, and John Deere. We sell these products to both farmers and dealers across the Midwest. Ihle Fabrications has become well-known to their customers and have had a lot of repeat business. Our dad started the farming operation in the 60’s with row crop and hogs. In the 80’s, we sold out of the livestock business and started Ihle Farms Trucking, Inc. where we hauled grain for local farmers and elevators. Since then, we still have the trucking business and have grown the farming business. Ihle Fabrications then began around 2017. The main product we sell is our vertical auger liner. This product was a solution to resolve a problem we always had ourselves with our combine as farmers. The only option there was, was to replace the grain tank on the combine which would result in spending thousands of dollars. With this product we’ve created, dealers and farmers are able to extend the life of their machines. The farm economy has forced farmers to keep their machines longer by repairing them instead of upgrading.
