Opened in 1977 by local die makers to service the tool and die needs of West Michigan. Lake Design, from its inception, instituted a simple motto "Pride in Workmanship". We have remained true to this fundamental philosophy and with this as our foundation the quality and ingenuity of our stamping products is evident at first glance. While continuing to supply our customers with their tool & die needs we also expanded into manufacturing with the addition of metal stamping presses. Adding production meant we needed to strengthen our relationships with other suppliers. Throughout the 1980's we developed relationships with steel suppliers and coaters and have remained loyal ever since.
