Strobels Supply Inc. is an Industrial Supply Distribution and Liquid Paint Application company. Started in the 1940’s, as a family run business. Strobels evolved as a trusted supplier throughout New York’s Southern Tier Region and the mass transit industry (rolling stock). Through the years, the company expanded to become that same trusted transit supplier across the country. In 2003, after 2 generations, the company assumed new ownership. From 2003 to 2010, Strobels Supply continued to grow its expertise in coatings, adhesives, industrial supplies, and beyond. That expertise, and the evolving reach of the Web, allowed the company to continue its expansion around the world by adding an eCommerce platform. Product lines grew to include some of the most renown manufacturers in the world including 3M, Axalta (formerly DuPont), Sika, Loctite, Dormer, BASF, Makita, Mankiewicz and many others. In 2012, Strobels Supply leveraged years of coatings expertise along with an understanding of the transportation industry to develop Liquid Paint Application and Polyurea Coatings divisions. In doing so, Strobels was able to differentiate itself from other distributors and paint applicators alike. Our goal was to provide customers with product knowledge, supplies, and the application of these coatings on all surfaces. Truly a unique combination. In 2019 Strobels moved operations to a new 45,000 sq. ft. facility. Business functions, opportunities for growth and expansion, technological advancements, efficiencies, new product and innovative processes, and new industries to serve are all currently being explored.
