In 1999, two market leaders – GLS Corporation and Cook Composites and Polymers (now known as CCP Composites) – forged a joint venture to create Composites One, a single distribution organization with more than 30 local distribution centers dedicated to serving the composites manufacturing industry. We have grown and evolved ever since. Today, we serve over 9,000 customers, providing them with thousands of products from more than 400 industry-leading supplier partners. Our expertise has grown and evolved as well. We’ve moved beyond distribution to become one of the leading experts in Closed Molding technologies. As a founding member of the Closed Mold Alliance, we are committed to helping manufacturers learn and adopt these processes so they can build better parts and increase productivity. In 2012 Composites One became wholly owned by Synergy55 Corporation, the same operating partner that has managed our business from its start. Synergy55 is owned by the Dehmlow family, which has more than 70 years of distribution experience. While there have been many changes and advancements since 1999, what has remained the same is our mission – to serve as a single source offering the widest range of products, services and expertise available to the composites manufacturing industry.
