We believe that not only should the soap you chose leave you feeling clean and refreshed, the method in which it is made should also be as clean as possible.  We strive to minimize our company’s and our product’s impact to the environment, choosing to forego artificial and manmade chemicals and detergents.  Instead, we opt for natural oils, waxes, butters and additives.  We wrap our bars in biodegradable papers and labels, choosing recycled materials when available.  We are not perfect by any stretch, but are working towards it. We find beauty in the subtle and simple.  There is satisfaction to be gained in crafting seemingly simple products that outperform your expectations.  We make it a course of business to minimize ingredient processing, and when able we prefer to handle intermediate steps in house.  These small, but important, details are where we believe the goodness lies and sets our soap apart. We feel that the quality and freshness of the ingredients we include in your soap is paramount.  We chose to make our soaps in small batches.  This allows us to focus on the small details and ensure a proper bar of soap is produced.  The choice to make small batches causes a high turnover and the need for soap to be made more often. This ensures that not only the ingredients are as fresh as possible, but the bar of soap is as well.  It hasn’t been sitting years on warehouse shelf waiting for you to order it. Finally, we believe in the above principals so much, we print them on every bar of soap we ship.
