My dad was a truck, automotive and marine mechanic. He became a Career and Technical Educator later in life and passed in 2012. I chose to name my business after his business "Bills Auto Marine" to honor his legacy to both our family and his successful vocational students. My dad 'employed' me starting at about age 8 as a mechanic's helper, primarily in the repair of inboard gas and diesel marine engines. I started working on and operating 40 foot plus boats from 10 years old. I also was an automotive and marine mechanic, a Career and Technical instructor and additionally hold a 50 ton USCG Master's License. I have been a T1 certified AMSOIL Independent Dealer for 14 years, being 100% sold on the company, its ethos and premium products. At 59 I am still active in all my pursuits, while going forward putting an emphasis on sponsoring new Dealers, preferred customers, retailers and commercial accounts.
