Chuckanut Alpaca Ranch is located right on scenic Chuckanut Drive. Nine years ago, Walter and Lois Schluter left the hustle and bustle of the big city behind and established Chuckanut Alpaca Ranch. They quickly embraced their new enterprise and peaceful life in the country with a growing herd of 64 alpacas. It's also the perfect place for their huge Bernese Mountain Dog, Julian, who thinks he owns the place and loudly announces company. He takes his job as greeter and escort very seriously and will act as guide for anyone who visits his alpaca family. With 24 acres, there is plenty of space for all of the alpacas, Julian, and the growing family of bunnies that have taken up residence here.
