Rev. Walston is the founder of the first One God Apostolic church in Barstow, Cal. In the 60's Rev. Walston came to Barstow and started the church in his own home, later as the church grew he was able to purchase a church building which he paid for with his own money. He had a VISION and we today hold to his vision. His VISION is to see souls saved for God's glory, not mans. "He that winneth a soul is wise." Every soul matters to God whether, male or female, black or white, rich or poor, bond or free. Every person should have a chance to feel the love of God and go to a church where they are completely accepted. Who are we to chose who can and can not come into the house of God. Rev. We are the only homeless shelter for the areas in and around Barstow, Ca. In 2010, we provided 58,253 services - making us one of the largest providers in San Bernardino County We provide emergency shelter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You will receive three meals a day, a place to shower, and laundry facilities. We also provide job search help, help with receiving benefits owed to you, and help finding permanent housing.We distribute Federal Food Commodities,:Food Pantry Boxes: Bread every day and help with our Utility Assistance & Weatherization Program.Depending on our funding, we may be able to assist you with Greyhound vouchers (only up to $50 per ticket), gasoline, prescriptions, IDs, and birth certificates.
