The Visalia Rescue Mission is a local non-profit organization. We serve the local community by providing a homeless shelter for men, women and children; we sleep on average 120 people each night and serve three meals a day; 365 days a year. We are currently serving approximately 515 meals each day; over 190,000 meals in 2011! Additionally, we operate a nine month recovery program that includes a mentoring program, life-skill training as well as a job internship programs. We rely heavily on volunteers from our local communities to support our work within a hurting sector of our society. We are funded entirely by donations from local churches, businesses and individuals. The Visalia Rescue Mission owns and operates Rescued Treasures Thrift Store on Mooney Blvd. and Simply Chic B

Grace Lutheran Church and School and Growing in Grace Preschool. Offering private chrisitan education from preschool through the sixth grade. We are a member of the Missouri Synod.

Ms. Susan Muro is a therapist who helps couples, families, and children work through their issues. She has over 25 years of experience helping people resolve their problems and improve their relationships. Ms. Muro specializes in marriage counseling, family therapy, and children's counseling/therapy. She also has a great deal of experience with children's trauma therapy. Her mission is to help as many people as possible resolve their conflicts and improve their lives.
