I would like to be part of your healing story. The therapeutic services I can offer you include integrative approaches towards overcoming life challenges and health and wellness counseling. I focus on both inner and other health and I work with individuals, adolescents, and couples.
A typical therapy session with me may feel like we are just two individuals having a meaningful conversation or we may want to work on mindfulness skills, meditation and stress management, role-play or practice communication skills, explore creative therapeutic interventions, or delve more into introspective skills and analysis. I will always treat you with dignity, respect, and offer a safe non-judgmental space where you can explore your strengths and what is and is not working in your life and together we can find the tools and skills that are going to meet your needs for creating happiness, peace, and healthy connections.
I am drawn to health and wellness in many forms. Professionally I have been working in the community mental health setting for several years. I am a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), licensed Drug & Alcohol Counselor (LADC) and have been formally trained as a certified yoga instructor and health coach. I have additional education in health psychology, trauma therapy, understanding chronic pain and how different holistic strategies can help to manage chronic long term medical conditions. I am passionate about working with adults and couples to improve mental and physical health and working with adolescents to therapeutically empower their age group and to teach lifelong skills around self-care and mental health.
