Community Baptist Church was originally Community Bible Fellowship when it first opened it's doors. Many years later, Commuity Baptist Church was established on June 23, 1962 there at the former Community Bible Fellowship. In the mid-1990's, CBC added on to it's sanctuary. This new addition included a new sanctuary, 4 new classrooms, a fellowship hall, a children's church, 4 bathrooms, a pastorial office, and a nursery. In 2007, CBC built a small building behind the church to serve as a cookhouse. Then in 2008, they renovated the old sanctuary to make two new offices and two more classrooms. They bought new playground equipment. In 2009, CBC completely remodled the current sanctuary. This remodel included new carpet, new pew coverings, stage remodel, painting, and a new projector system
