She is from New Orleans where she taught junior high learning-disabled students for six years before getting her Master's degree. During her five-year private practice in Ohio, she directed eating disorder support groups, appeared on a local radio program and offered her seminar, "When Is Thin Enough?". While in Mississippi, she taught psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi and volunteered her counseling services through her church. Marcia specializes in helping women struggling with eating disorders, sexual abuse and all other issues women face. Therapists are available to assist with families, couples and adolescents.
