Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) is a worldwide marriage preparation program which has been successful in the U.S. since 1976. The retreat weekend consists of a lively process of listening, writing and conversations which help the engaged couple to look at their relationship in a focused, intimate, and faith-centered way. The instructors help to facilitate the process as the engaged couple reflects upon and strengthens their relationship with each other and with God. CEE of Lower Hudson Valley has been serving the New York / Connecticut / New Jersey tri-state area since 1975. Most of the couples that attend our weekends live in the tri-state area, but we warmly welcome any engaged Catholic couple who needs to complete a marriage preparation or pre-cana program to fulfill diocesan requirements.
