About Fort Trial Fort Trial Christian Church was established in 1928 as a prayer meeting that soon boomed and will soon celebrate its 80th Homecoming! Great things have been done in the name of Jesus Christ through this group of people. Fort Trial Christian Church is in Bassett, Virginia, located in the middle between Roanoke and Greensboro on Route 220. Sundays are a time of Bible Classes at 10am and Congregational Assembly at 11am. The congregational assembly time includes biblical (and grace-filled we may add) Preaching, Lord's Supper, Prayer, Fellowship, and Singing.
