Pastors James & Didi Gray have been married for 29 years and have a teenage daughter, Alex. They are originally from Long Island, New York where they served as Pastors for sixteen years. They were sent to Hopewell, Virginia eleven years ago with a mandate from God to reach and restore His broken people.
They connected with Redemption Outreach Center in Chester, Virginia under Senior Pastor Chuck Crocker. In 2006, Pastor Crocker was given an apostolic commission to reach Hopewell and Chester with a transforming citywide Kingdom vision. Pastors James & Didi have the same vision-- to train and impart, restore, heal and empower God's people.
God has released them to serve at the Downtown Hopewell Redemption Campus. Together they flow prophetically and believe in building people of prayer and creating disciples.

The worship service is traditional and the worship time is very contemporary. there is a large varity of activities that go on weelky for all age groups in the church. The congregation is very friendly. This church is one of the few churches in the area that is totally multi- cultural.
