Our Senior Care Adult Day Care Center works diligently to provide affordable senior health care and provide an alternative to institutionalization for persons with dementia, Alzheimers or recovering from a stroke. Meals are served with a 10 a.m. snack in the morning, a full nutritious and delectable lunch is served at 12 noon and another snack is served at 2 p.m. Transportation to and from the Center is also provided through the center or through coordination with a local paratransit service. Our compassionate and capable staff consists of a Director, an Assistant Director (Registered Nurse), a Personal Care Assistant and an Activity Director. Whatever the activity our adult day care provides participants with engaging social interaction with their peers enabling full interaction in our community. Health assessments and therapeutic activities are designed to promote the participant’s ability to remain independent. The center supports caregivers providing them with much needed respites during the week. The Senior Adult Day Care Center accommodates up to 30 seniors. At any given time you will be able to visit and see seniors doing stretching exercises or Zumba, or engaged in a lively exchange during a group discussion. SCCVA offers a half day trial visit to persons who want to know more about our programs.
