My name is Esperansa, owner of Joy of Music with Esperansa. I am a music educator and accredited Simply Music piano teacher with a piano studio in Corte Madera, CA. I have been teaching music education and piano for almost 20 years to students of all ages and from all different backgrounds. I teach the Simply Music piano method, and also specialize in teaching a unique system I created primarily for teaching 6 to 9-years old children to read. My unique method teaches music and ear training in a way that is easy and fun, with singing games and activities, and is based on the methods of Kodaly, Orff, and Music Mind Games. I also created another unique program for 5-years old children that enables them to learn to play piano because it is easy and fun for them! Unlike other programs, they learn to play songs on the piano through singing games and activities designed specifically for their age.
