What is a Learning Detective? As a "Learning Detective", I work with you and/or your child to understand their strengths and weaknesses, to optimize their learning. When a person learns how to use their strengths, and how to work with and around their processing difficulties, they can become a more effective, independent learner. Children that struggle with basic skills such as math or reading often end up in a vicious cycle of frustration. The Learning Detective's strategies focus on creating a cycle of success and improving self esteem to promote more rapid learning. The sooner your child begins utilizing their strengths through the Learning Detective's strategies, the easier it is to turn their frustrations into achievement.
