Basketball videos America started in 2000 under the name basketball videos USA. The founder of basketball videos America is Debbie A. (Kazimir) Sanchez whose passion is to play basketball. She was attracted towards basketball when Lakers win 33 games in a row in1972 and started to play basketball in her early age. The rule was different for girls when Debbie started to play basketball at her schooling period. As per the rule, girls could play six players in the court and allowed for dribble only three times. These six players were divided into two groups with name forwards and guards. The forwards team were pretended to protect the basket and played defense and similarly in opposite the guards did the shooting. But in early of 1970’s the rule for girls were same as the boys. Debbie was a good division 1 basketball player at Fresno state in between 1974-1976 and her scoring record was broken in 1992 that she made in her basketball carrier. She was qualified for the AIAW (prior to the NCAA tournament) national tournament in 1975 held in Manhattan, Kansas at Kansas State University. She also played #2 on the women's tennis team and qualified for two national tournaments. Fresno State was ranked, number 13 nationally in 1975. In 1975, she was selected to try out for the United States Olympic team, with a great experience and a great honor. Debbie was started her coaching carrier after completing her BA in 1976. In her coaching carrier she trained every level of players like elementary school, junior high school, high school and college, as well as summer clinics. After her retirement from coaching, she started the Basketball videos America which provides all e-commerce business, basketball DVDs, videos for basketball. The dream of Debbie comes true when she made the basketball videos America because her passion of life is to provide basketball coaching to all ages of athletes.
