Signorelli Vocal Studio was founded in the 1950's by Maestro Michael Signorelli. Maestro Signorelli sang in the golden age of opera as a leading tenor with major opera companies such as the Chicago Lyric Opera Co, and the San Carlo Opera. He performed with the leading operatic luminaries of the time including Ezio Pinza, Lily Pons, Licia Albanese, John Charles Thomas, Gladys Swarthout, Lawrence Tibbet and others. He was soloist for 10 years at St Patricks Cathedral in NYC. He studied with the great teachers of Bel Canto, including Forrest Lamont, contemporary of Caruso, Mastinelli, a student of Lamperti, Mario Rubini and Issac Van Grove. Welcome to Family Joy of Music. In our school we use a holistic approach to provide age appropriate programs to introduce music to children from a very young age. We teach music through playing piano, music games that enhance ear training, movement and rhythmic activities while incorporating sing along songs and solfege. The studies show that children have higher success rate in school when they are introduced to music in an early age. As passionate and educated teachers, we make the best music programs for children of all ages available to guide and help them grow musically while giving the long lasting gift of playing musical instruments. Our programs invite family members to actively participate during class sessions and at home studies. Together we can show children that the learning experience can be fun by singing song and playing music and by performing in holiday concerts and recitals.
