Corey Colmey is an active educator, performer, clinician and drumset recording artist based in central NY. His teaching experience includes private lessons for drum set, concert percussion, world percussion, as well as ensemble programs for children and adults. In addition to his current teaching posts at Utica College and Herkimer County Community College, he currently runs a private teaching practice in Rome, NY where students of all ages can come to study drumming in a relaxed atmosphere. As a performer, he's traveled all over the US and abroad, sharing the stage with artists including G Koop, Fiber, The Fading Collection, Edan, DJ Craze, Solstir, Rick Montalbano, Joe Magnarelli, Swamiko, Christian Arthur, and Marc Seales. He still continues to compose, record and perform with an array of artists all over the country.
