I have 27 years experience giving private guitar lesson. I have my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, where for my as Master's I studied under world renowned classical guitarist Manuel Barrueco. In the first lesson I find out what the goals are of you, the student. Your goals become my goals. I emphasize learning the fundamentals of guitar technique and overall musicianship as this maximizes the potential of the student and gives them the best tools to continue to grow as a guitarist through their lifetime. Lessons are focused and yet patient. I love to teach. Seeing my students achieve what they hope to is what is most rewarding to me. My job is to guide them through the process of achieving their goals for the guitar.
