My name is Nihar Mathia and I have been working in finance for several years. As I began to wonder what I was missing, I set forth to speculate, and realized that I wanted to help and give back to my community. I wanted to work with children and help mold the future generation. I quickly began searching and sure enough I found my place as center director and owner at The Tutoring Center. I knew my passion lay in education, helping students achieve a higher goal. For me, high expectation and goals equal successful student academic achievement and self efficacy. I chose to help students because I have seen what self confidence and one on one teaching can accomplish. Children need windows to open when a door seems shut to reach their full potential. As a member of a growing community, I am overjoyed to offer this help in a stress free environment. My wife echoed my sentiments as we chose to be part of this amazing initiative. A Ph.D. in literacy and teacher of gifted and talented students, she works with many students often under motivated or having disabilities such as A.D.H.D. She truly believes anything can happen if a student is motivated and enjoys their learning. Often it is not what you teach but how you teach it. I am very confident that the Rotational Approach to Learning we use, here at The Tutoring Center will make all the difference for your child. At the tutoring center we practice a one on one technique through the rotational approach that heightens student focus and concentration while they learn. Students are celebrated for their positive success at The Tutoring Center and in their school. They become part of a fun learning community where they can take risks and earn positive reinforcement. When learning becomes fun and focused students begin to change their thinking about learning, they seem less stressed during the school year and look forward to learning with their friends right here at The Tutoring Center.
