Scioto Residential Services, Inc. (SRS) is a not-for-profit corporation established in 1974. SRS is a member of the Ohio Provider Resource Association and provides support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings. Services provided by SRS include Ohio DODD Licensed Homes, Respite Services, and Adult Day Services (OUR Place). SRS is funded by a Medicaid Waiver Program and private pay. SRS advocates the principles of Gentle Teaching, which is based on a philosophy of human interdependence and unconditional love. Our goal is to promote a gentle environment regardless of setting or service type, for our staff and the individuals we support.
