The Flying H Youth Ranch is a Christian residential program for Troubled Teenage Boys who are struggling within their families. Founded in 1962, the Ranch has served over 2,000 boys and families, emphasizing concern for helping the entire family and encouraging faith in Jesus Christ and the Bible. We exist to bring these young men and their families to God's perspective and standards of family living. Our desire is to enable the boys to build and re-build relationships. In addition to this we want to help them learn to overcome destructive decisions, have accomplishment academically and physically, form moral and responsible codes as well as learn discipline and obedience while learning to view themselves as unique and valuable. Flying H Youth Ranch is an 18 month program designed for difficult and troubled teenage boys. Our program focuses on long-term change, unlike the usually short-term progress that military schools and boot camps provide. We have assisted hundreds of families who can no longer control their son and are fearful for his future. We accept Troubled Teenage Boys, ages 13 (8th grade)-16 1/2, commonly exhibiting the following characteristics: Defiance and anger Issues Disrespectful to authority Lacking self-control A.D.H.D. Deteriorating academic performance Teenage drug abuse Alcohol addiction Teenage depression Poor peer choices Problems in school
