HISTORY-Eubanks Conservatory of Music and Arts, Inc. First Stage: Eubanks Conservatory of Music and Arts, Inc., was founded in 1951, By Dr. Rachael Eubanks and grew from a studio in her living room into a substantial institution offering state-approved Bachelor and Master Degrees in Music Education. Dr. Racheal Eubanks was willing to explore uncharted musical territory and was responsive to specific needs of the students and the communities from which they came. Curriculum emphasized an integrated approach using critical analysis and analytical methodologies to gain knowledge and understanding of the essential nature and history of its society. The school had museum containing musical instruments that were collected during her travels. Her willingness to explore the unknown and responding to specific needs is illustrated by her settings of Vietnamese folksongs for violin and cello with piano accompaniment, composed for three of her Vietnamese students. For more than 50 years, she taught music in Los Angeles in much the same manner. Many of those years were spent on 4822, 4824 & 4826 and Crenshaw Boulevard, where three converted houses served as the campus for the Eubanks Conservatory of Music and Arts. She successfully gutted the houses and made classroom, an office and practice rooms. The buildings were painted a beautiful lime-green, with tall surrounding gates and with a huge, arched marquee, with the name Eubanks Conservatory at the entry. Second Stage: Louis Lee became the new president of E.C.M.A. in 2014. He was in Las Vegas performing with the previous president, Thomas Grant, and because of his astute way of directing the band and conducting business Thomas felt that he could run E.C.M.A. successfully. So, he asked Louis and he accepted. Louis Lee is a guitarist/entrepreneur/professor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Study’s and a Master’s in the Science of Education from U.S.C. Since he has an endorsement with Gibson Guitars, in 2015 he moved the school from the Crenshaw Blvd., location to the Gibson Guitars building located at 9350 Civic Center Drive, Beverly Hills, CA. 90210. Gibson Guitars accommodated him with an office space and with the use of their facility. Because of the distance, traffic, and lack of students, a year later he managed to move the guitar instruction to Guitar Center 4525 Artesia Blvd, Lawndale, CA 90260. Louis was a great addition to their business and they gave him complete autonomy. He eventually got an epiphany,
