Our Mission To improve the lives of our youth by providing any child who wishes to play baseball or softball with the means and the opportunity, providing a viable alternative to other destructive options. Going To Bat was concieved by three talented high school players and teammates Adam Salcido, Kyle Candalla and Kieran Lovegrove. They witnessed first hand the tragedy of children falling through the cracks because their parents or as often was the case, single parent, did not have the means to pay for their children to play sport and reach their true potential as athletes. Noble programs such as RBI (Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities) did not extend to the suburbs, where single parents fight valiantly to keep their heads above water.
