Light Of The Lamb was established in 2007 by married couple Mark and Christie Baker shortly after a declared national disaster in Ramona for the purposes of disaster relief, hunger relief, resource referral networking for the community, spreading the gospel, distributing free Bibles to uplift and support those in need. The non-denominational Church endeavors to provide a homeless shelter, animal rescue sanctuary and a community resource building to assist with residents locating employment and permanent housing. The hunger relief program "Project Care And Share Of Ramona" provides regular food distributions 2 times a week and a hot meal every week.

The Committee For A Better Ramona are dedicated to the education of Ramona residents as to issues affecting the community and developing a powerful community consensus to exercise influence over decision makers to pursue the community's collective agenda.
