Blake Johnson is a Los Angeles (near Pacific Palisades) based entrepreneur who has successfully founded and sold a variety of businesses that currently exceed $1.1 billion in valuations. His most recent endeavor is direct-to-consumer dental aligner company, Byte. Previously, both Currency Capital and IM Capital Access (companies in which he was the Chairman and Founder), were named on the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, and several of his ventures have landed him on the Inc 500/5000 list of fastest-growing privately held companies. In addition to his entrepreneurial undertakings, Blake participates in a variety of philanthropic endeavors.
Johnson founded the Alliance as a way to support Southern California-based philanthropies in a more meaningful, network-driven way. With a focus on youth mentorship, low-income education programs, and entrepreneurial development, the Alliance provides ongoing contributions to philanthropies that share Johnson’s vision: Better access to education, arts, sciences and social well-being to nurture tomorrow’s leaders. Recent grant recipients include Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Boy Scouts of America, MOCA Los Angeles, and the International Justice Mission.
By building connections between these organizations -- and following a network-driven approach to grant-making -- the Alliance helps build safe, supportive environments where children can excel in life and in school.
