Shedd Light Upon The World was designed to spread the word of God by bringing His light into the hearts and lives of those in need during a time of darkness. Chicago gun violence is on the rise along with other violent crimes. We focus on issues that fuel these violent crimes. In order to minimize the occurrences of violent crimes in Chicago, underlying issues must be addressed. While providing assistance to the families of victims of gun violence, we also provide medical assistance to children, as well as helping the homeless, children living within a poverty stricken family, and orphaned or abandoned children who are in need of a family.
