A Gift from Gunner Foundation was established in our son’s name. History: Our son’s name is Gunner Shultz. He was diagnosed when he was five with a brain tumor, diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, cancer. Unfortunately, he did not make it, and died at the age of six. During our time of need we were blessed with great support from our community, friends, neighbors and many others. They donated money to help cover our medical bills and allowed us to take one last family vacation together. In this respect we are trying to give to others what was given to us, more time to spend with their child without the worries of money. For that reason, this foundation has been established in Gunner’s name to help others. This is a non-profit foundation where proceeds go to families, to help ease the cost of medical treatments. By raising money and presenting it to families who suffer from the hardships of having a child with life threatening condition(s), we hope to make life more enjoyable. Not only do we try to provide some monetary help, but we are also here for emotional support. This non-profit organization serves people of all races, creeds, and religions. We do not discriminate. We merely support our fellow citizens, and serve as a guiding light.
