KHAKY was established in 1971 to serve patients facing the challenges of kidney disease. The Pride Program provides drug and alcohol services to pregnant and postnatal women. In addition to initial assessment, Pride provides classes to increase awareness of prenatal substance use, education regarding prenatal health, childbirth education and parenting classes. Pride provides group therapy to educate clients on cost and negative consequences of continued use of drug and/or alcohol, individual therapy to address personal issues that may have lead to drug use and/or has kept women using, relapse prevention classes and support and Case Management which coordinates services for clients, providing linkage to community resources and assisting with plans to achieve goals.
