Chance for Success provides job traing, placement, and ongoing supportive employment services to youth age 16-24 with learning disabilities and/or a diagnosed illness. We All Winn Second Chance Mentoring is an expansion of the school based mentoring program to include second chance youth. The program will servejuveniles age 13-18 being released from the detention center or boot camp. These children will be paired with a mentor and a case manager. The Street Outreach of Shreveport is a progrsm designed to provide assistance to run away, homeless and throwaway youth with services designed to help them return home or find suitable housing. The program serves youth ages 13-21.

The Krewe of Centaur was organized in 1991. The Krewe is bound together by the common goals of building a better community and the pursuit of good family fun. The Krewe of Centaur Mardi Gras Parade has grown over the years to become the largest parade in the Ark-La-Tex. We are one of the very largest, single parading Krewes in the State of Louisiana, and yes, that includes New Orleans. We have gotten bigger and better with every year. Our Parade is two Saturdays (10 days) before Fat Tuesday.

The Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana has a mission to serve as the primary resource for fighting hunger in Northwest Louisiana. The Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, the Nation's Food Bank Network, which is the largest hunger relief organization in the world. The Food Bank of NW Louisiana is the largest distributor of donated food for our 7 parish area. We sort, warehouse and distribute food to over 100 partner agencies which then give it to people in need. Some partner agencies operate pantries, bagging up sacks of groceries for parents to take home to hungry families. Our Programs include: Emergency Food Boxes, Disaster Relief, Summer Food Service Program, Kids Café, BackPack¿ Program, Senior Lagniappe Program, Mobile Pantry, K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations):

School Based Mentoring program matches 2nd-5th grade students at Mrs. Eddie Jones West Shreveport Elementary School with mentor. The Community Based, Mentoring Children of Prisoners Program matches children between the ages of 4 and up to 18 yrs who have a parent incarcerated in a state or federal correctional facility with a mentor. Mentoring services are provided at no charge to children.
