Established in 2003, Waltham Co-op Playgroup (WCP) is a warm, parent-run indoor playgroup in Waltham, MA for families with children from birth through Pre-K. It’s a friendly, low-pressure place where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers can play, explore, and build early friendships. Most meetups include plenty of open play with toys, books, puzzles, and space to move, plus circle time for songs, stories, and simple crafts. Caregivers stay (not drop-off), so you can connect with other local parents and caregivers, swap tips, and feel a little less alone. Great for toddler socialization, parent-and-child playdates, and indoor fun during New England winters and rainy days. Join one or more days per week. Because we’re a co-op, members pitch in with light setup/cleanup and small volunteer tasks to keep WCP affordable, welcoming, and community-powered for Waltham-area families. You’ll find a mix of ages, gentle routines, and a supportive community that grows with your child, week after week.
