Operating daily as a Thrift Store, Pennies For Change, Inc. provides assistance to families and indivduals located in Rockingham County (NC) and the surrounding area. By taking donations of gently used clothing, household, furniture, appliances, electronics, and many other items we are able to supply much needed help to children and indviduals in need. Amongst other programs, Pennies For Change, Inc. will supply College-level Scholorships to local High School Seniors that come from broken or impoverished households. The Cherokee Challenge, Inc. Youth Skeet Shooting Tournament is held annually. The purpose of the Cherokee Challenge is to promote youth shooting sports, provide youth with an opportunity to compete and improve shooting skills and raise money for Camper-ships to send youth to summer camp. The Cherokee Challenge, Inc. is chartered in the State of North Carolina. It is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually.
