The Civic was dedicated to local veterans of WWI in 1922 and remains a memorial to their service. The Civic Auditorium is located in The Dalles, Oregon. Groups or individuals may rent space at The Dalles Civic Auditorium for parties, meetings, conferences,trade shows and other events. The building contains a large formal ballroom, an intimate Fireside room, and the gymnasium. The annual cost to maintain the Civic is $81,000 or 3000 donations of $27 each. We hope that veterans and friends of veterans will want to help to maintain this historic building. Of course, we welcome support in any amount!
