Renaissance Recovery Outpatient is located in St. George, Utah. We incorporate gospel principles and practices into our addiction counseling, alcohol treatment, drug and alcohol rehab programs. We are committed to providing only the best service to our fellow friends struggling to escape the chains of alcoholism and drug addiction. Addiction does not discriminate against color, sex, age, or status and can wrap it’s lifeless grip around the soul of anyone. Through our outpatient program clients become empowered as they learn the scientific and factual basis behind alcoholism and addiction. We strongly believe knowledge is power. This cunning and baffling disease is centralized in the midbrain, the portion of the brain responsible for a human’s instinctual need for survival and has been shown to not only to be active during addiction but appears to actually hijack the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain responsible for aligning values, logic and ration. Alcoholics and drug addicts are not bad people struggling with willpower, rather, they are sick people in desperate need of spiritual healing.
