Our national headquarters are located in Oregon, WI with resources and services in every state. Our approach to addressing addiction focuses on our 5 strategic priorities: Help Families and Patients in Crisis. Provide new, effective resources and support for patients and families in crisis. Integrate Treatment. Develop resources, protocols and tools for physicians, healthcare systems and the workforce to integrate treatment of substance use disorders into healthcare. Raise Awareness. Educate, translate and communicate information about the disease of addiction to key stakeholders and audiences. Prevent Addiction. Helping communities and families take steps to prevent addiction or find it at its earliest, most treatable stage. Advocate and Educate. Intensify the urgency around addiction and mobilize bold action through advocacy and engagement. Addiction is a disease and must be treated as such. There should be no stigma associated with treating addiction. Family and patients must be educated, empowered and supported to help solve this crisis.
