A Diamond in the Ruff, Women's Outreach program, started in the fall of 2008. A Diamond in the Ruff, works with women ages 18 and up in Alameda County and other nearby counties who reside in homeless shelters, transitional houses, rehabilitation centers, and re-entry programs.
Our mission is to exists to provide, A strong self image to change, encourage, and motivate women to become self- sufficient and successful.
Our service provides a series of classes Life Skills, Self Esteem, Coping skills, Image inhancement, and Style Overview.
Each class provides a full package of resources and is led by
an experienced facilitator. A graduation ceremony takes place fiand each woman receives and certificate of completion from A Diamond in the Ruff, Inc.
