The SWAP is the only sulfur removal technology that reduces CO2. The SWAP reacts CO2 in the presence of H2S over a catalyst eliminating both. In the laboratory, H2S is reduced to below detectable levels. CO2 is broken down to form water, sulfur and carsuls.
