If you're looking for a quick "in & out" haircut place, this ISN'T the place for you. I have created the Clipper Club to be a "sanctuary" for the busy male who wants first-class one-on-one attention every time.
You will begin with "the lifesaver" ... a steamy hot towel treatment with a soothing neck, shoulder, scalp massage while enjoying some Frank Sinatra and a choice of beer or wine. After receiving a top-notch haircut, you will receive your second shampoo. Attention to detail is my top priority.
My goal is to de-stress my clients and have them feel totally relaxed, pampered and ecstatic about their new look. This is personalized attention at its best!
The Clipper club sells men's skin and hair products.

Sweet Charleston Designs honors the oldest, continuously produced African American historical art form: Sweet Grass Basketry with our interpretive fine jewelry. Each piece is custom crafted in either sterling on sterling silver or hand woven over 18K gold over sterling, in a pattern reminiscent of Lowcountry traditional fanner baskets. We endeavor to educate others about the significance and origin of the basketry craft and lend support to the preservation of the art. Recognizing that the natural resources for basketry production are being reduced as coastal development continues, we hope to work to aide in land conservation in or near the marshlands. All jewelry is 100% made in the USA.

In 2002, New Jersey State Trooper Justin Hopson challenged the State of New Jersey and it's State Police to change the culture of police corruption. In a monumental federal case, Trooper Justin Hopson exposed a secret society of rogue state trooper's known as the "Lords of Discipline" who hazed, harassed, and bullied colleagues for decades. Justin Hopson has been interviewed by the New York Times, ABC News, Philadelphia Inquirer, Star Ledger and other media outlets concerning police corruption.

We love our art and try to get the word out that Art is a haven which we do our utmost to cultivate and protect. We're definitely not your regular Charleston gallery; and we're constantly being described as "quirky" and "eccentric". James Baldwin and I (Melanie Merz) feel that art should speak from the soul and completely trust our instincts to guide our selection of artists exhibited here.
'Looking for "Charleston" art? - This gallery probably won't fit the bill. If you're searching for imaginative works, we're positive you'll be quite satisfied. We're located at 10 Daniel Street, Charleston, SC - exactly one block east of the Coburg Cow on Savannah Highway. You may even catch us there late if you're romping around Avondale (West of the Ashley River). Thanks for considering us...
