Maxmedia Outdoor Advertising was initially formed in 1976 by its then and now C.E.O., William "Mac" Davidson. At its peak, Maxmedia owned and operated billboard locations throughout the state of Florida. After building the company into one of the largest independent companies in Central Florida, Maxmedia was subsequently sold in 1996. In 2010, Maxmedia Outdoor Advertising with the addition of President William B. Davidson, was reincorporated due to changes and expansion in the outdoor advertising industry, specifically outdoor digital media.
